Portland Federation of School Professional (PFSP), Local 111, recently appointed John MacDuffee as an alternate Trustee on the Portland Public Schools (SD#1) Health and Welfare Trust.
John currently works at Ockley Green as a half-time Library Assistant at Ockley Green Middle School and as a Member Services Liaison here at the PFSP office. Additionally, John sits on the PFSP Executive Council as Treasurer.
The Trust is a labor/management organization which oversees and implements the collectively bargained healthcare benefits on behalf of the PFSP, PAT, DCU, and ATU-represented employees.
When not working with PPS and PFSP, John enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family.
