2014 AFT-Oregon Convention

PFSP votes on important issues at the 2014 AFT-Oregon convention.

Highlights included the Saturday night Awards dinner, where Emcee Belinda Reagan presented Gisela Gonzalez-Montiel with the AFT-Oregon Albert F. Shanker Scholarship. Gisela is the daughter of our own PFSP Bilingual EA Eva Gonzalez. She is currently a sophomore at the University of Portland and plans to be a medical physicist. Congratulations Gisela and Eva!

VP Becky Wright, and Field Rep/VP Michelle Batten meet with Richard Trumka, President of the AFL-CIO, at this year's International Foundation conference. President Trumka and the AFL-CIO hosted a luncheon encouraging workers to take back the middle class.
